Turkey Creek Sanctuary

 

Part of the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) program, Turkey Creek Sanctuary is a stunning 130 acres of Florida biodiversity and natural resources. Enjoy a stroll through sand pine scrub communities and wetland hammock on the 1.85-mile boardwalk, or stretch your legs on the 1.5 miles of jogging trails. Be sure to keep a lookout for the locals — manatees, alligators, and otters! If you want to learn more about the local wildlife, visit one of the on-site interpretive exhibits at the Margaret Hames Nature Center.

The recently refurbished Palm Bay Aquatic Center is a family-friendly water park located in Palm Bay. Castaways Point Park is a local park known for its gorgeous views and for being one of the few natural beaches on the Indian River Lagoon.
